「最傳統中做最不傳統」針織布廠 綠色企業勤減排

廣東溢達紡織有限公司(針織布廠)總經理程鵬,秉持集團的環保理念:「在最傳統的行業,做最不傳統的企業」。
針織布廠通過更換舊設備,採用泡沫整理、染色等新技術減少用水。
獎勵建議制度的設立,鼓勵員工為工廠的操作流程提出建議。
以香港為總部的溢達集團致力推動環保管理,該集團附屬的廣東溢達紡織有限公司(針織布廠)總經理程鵬秉持此理念,「在最傳統的行業,做最不傳統的企業。」該廠引入能源管理系統,按數據制定節能減排目標,且以獎勵建議制度,鼓勵員工為生產提意見,不放過任何一個浪費資源的小問題。去年程鵬有份構思的「溢起拼車」大受同事歡迎之餘,更可免卻加開員工接駁巴士班次,大減二氧化碳排放。
由上海紡織商人楊元龍創辦、前行會成員楊敏德擔任主席的溢達集團,企業的供應鏈由棉花種植、紡織、製衣、包裝到零售業務都一併承辦,每年為Ralph Lauren、Tommy Hilfiger和Nike等國際名牌生產逾億件成衣,去年集團營業總額達十三億美元。
生產水源消耗減六成四
紡織製衣業一貫被認為是高污染行業,惟因溢達集團推行「5E企業文化」,其中環境意識(Environment)一項獲程鵬積極推廣,故工廠自2005年引入能源管理系統,以數據分析各個部門的水源及能源消耗情況,從而制定減能目標及關鍵績效指標。該廠2016年的生產能源消耗較2005年下降四成五,生產水源消耗亦減少六成四,「去年我們訂立了第五個三年計畫,盼2017至2019年內的能源再降百分之八,用水再減一成二。」此外,集團每年更舉辦「十如論壇」,探討可持續發展的議題。
「我們要在最傳統的行業,做最不傳統的企業。」程鵬指,針織布廠通過更換舊設備,採用泡沫整理、染色等新技術減少用水,與此同時,環保要求亦不限於生產部門,連同技術支援部門,廠內十一個部門也需貫徹綠色理念,想盡辦法從直接或間接指標減排,如提升產品一次通過率、原料使用率及降低設備故障率,均有助減少資源消耗。
「溢起拼車」順風車接載員工
可是,在一家坐擁約二千六百名員工的工廠,除了由上而下制定減排目標外,員工的參與亦很重要。程鵬表示,針織布廠設立了獎勵建議制度,鼓勵員工為工廠的操作流程提出建議。舉例說,布料取樣送測、交予客戶參考,以往都是分單進行,惟每次只取一小塊將浪費布料,有員工建議列出所有要求,一併取樣;亦有人建議摒棄槍水筒以人手傾倒化學物料的工序,直接用水管引流到水筒,如此既可降低安全隱患,更能避免液體漏出,「這些提案能節省的資源看似很少,但一個個加起來就很多。」
針織布廠着力減少能源消耗,去年六月推出的「溢起拼車」計畫也惠及工廠周邊的居民。程鵬解釋,員工乘坐接駁巴士的需求大增,惟該筆開支已達九百萬人民幣,每日五條巴士綫二十五個班次亦不足夠,故他和行政部想到開發手機應用程式,讓駕駛私家車上班的員工發布「順風車」座位數目及路綫資料,沿途接載其他同事上班,截至上周六已接載一萬八千多人次,累計可減少三十二點七噸二氧化碳排放,節省逾萬升汽油,「原本部分路綫可能要加班,如今有拼車便不需要了。」
去年內地推行被喻為「最嚴環保法」,不少紡織企業均陷入困境。惟程鵬說,溢達並非為要滿足法例要求才費力節能減排,其排污標準實際已遠高於法例要求,「我們污水的COD指標(經處理的污水中化學需氧量)甚至比國家標準低六成……以往有些企業污染環境、以低價擾亂市場,他們倒閉對我們都有好處。」
環保有遠見 留下服務十六載
2001年從美國回流加入溢達集團的程鵬坦言,公司的環保理念、人才政策及行業遠見吸引他繼續留下。
程鵬本科畢業於清華大學精密儀器與機械學系,他亦是美國普渡大學的機械學碩士。這位高材生所持的學歷,理應可讓他在異地覓得好工作,程鵬卻選擇於2001年碩士畢業後,回流加入溢達。回首箇中緣由,原來是集團董事長楊敏德一席話,「當時是董事長親自到美國面試,我很好奇為何內地的企業要到美國招人,尤其我對紡織業的印象是高污染,靠便宜勞動力競爭,美國招聘未必用得上,人工也貴,但當時她說,要跟其他紡織企業不一樣,若要做到這點,人是最重要的。」
程鵬說,楊敏德看上他的學術背景,回流人才的思維和視野亦能助公司貫徹環保企業的管理概念,最初他由針織布廠計畫部經理做起,其後做過針織布廠、染紗廠及梭織布廠不同部門,五年前始回到針織布廠擔任總經理一職。現除了總經理一職,他同為溢達集團可持續發展委員會成員,「十六年來,公司不止環保理念吸引我留下,其人才政策、行業遠見均使我的背景發揮作用,帶來更大影響力。」
